Bi-Wire Speaker Jumpers
Written by:  Shane Mattson

Parts:

1.  All four wires within a piece of Audioquest Type 4 speaker cable are used per jumper

2.  High quality locking banana or spade connector (compression type)
Recommendation: http://www.bluejeanscable.com/store/speaker/index.htm

3.  Heat shrink tubing (Optional)

Instructions:

Cut each piece of wire to desired length.   Insert the wire through the rear portion of the connector, flare each wire to make it overlap the end of the rear portion, and then screw the front portion of the banana or spade onto the threads.  After both connectors are installed, twist each one in opposite directions until all four wires are tightly wound.  If desired, you may use heat shrink tubing over each connector to prevent possible shorting.

When properly assembled, the terminations are extremely solid and can't be removed even if applying extreme force.

Using Audioquest Type-4 conductors in conjunction with high quality locking connectors makes a killer set of jumpers for a minimal investment.  The total gauge per jumper is twice that of a normal run (15 gauge) of Type-4 since you are using all four wires per jumper.
