Congratulations with your fine setup. I use a c541i and c370 myself (and a c270 and c420, 2 pairs of Celestion Ditton 44 and a Dual 1218 turntable) and am very pleased with it. As for your cable problems, I suggest cutting some strands until it fits, turn on your system and enjoy your music. I'm not much of a believer in the benefits of expensive cables, but that's just me.
