I've got a simular problem with my NAD 317, when I turn it on, it goes in a sort of loop, clicking each time it's tries to go out of the protection.
(it's tries to go into normal operating mode, but goes into the protection immediatly.)
The strange thing is, when I mess around with the plug, briefly cutting the power just before it should go out of protection, and immediatly turn the power back on, it sometimes snaps out of the loop and works normally...
It works for days without any problem, but when i turn it off it taken me about 20 minutes to "turn it on" again.
Are circuit descriptions for NAD's available ?
I could problebly fix it if I had those...
Any other advice anyone can offer me ?
