I just purchased a REL Strata III but can't for the life of me figure out how to PROPERLY hook it up. Currently I have the low level input coming from the phono (both via Y monster) of and ADCOM GTP 710 preamp and the high level coming from an NEW A60 amp speaker attachments, two to the + and one to the - ports extending to the high level input via a neutrik cable atachment. My brother tells me this puts strain on the preamp and why would I want to hook up to the amp if the subwoofer already has an amp. Should I be just running low level. Can you help me.

Thanks

Scott

: Yes,

: I have just purchased a Strata 3 and hooking them to a Pathos Classic One & Sonus Faber Concertinos was quite tricky, as the manual guide clearly didn't work with the amp..using the REL cable suppied and about 2 hours of "phase" turning it is fine...they said 15 minutes,,,,hummmmm.
: Anyway, they are superb and really complete a system, leaving it switched on doesn't chew watts either, less than the power of a small light bulb.

: These beauties make the many japanese subs look like toys for a 3 year old!!!

: Cheers,

: Paul
