Well, if the export command is making crappy wav files, you don't really have much of a choice.
I suppose, you could listen to the wavs on your pc and maybe do some editing with soundforge or soemthing before you burn to CD.. Maybe you just need to re-EQ them? Maybe there's something in your export function that isn't using the correct EQ or effects?
so: i'm thinking, either:
1: there's something wrong with your export settings, creating bad wav files or
2: your 8 track just exports icky sounding wavs

Have you tried bouncing to a single stereo track before exporting? Maybe that could help.

If none of these random thoughts work, then yeah, i'm guessing you'll have to do analog recording into the computer.
