The C 13:00 error occurs when the lens in your Sony DVD player becomes dirty over time.
I got the error on my Sony DVP S536D, so I bought a DVD lens cleaner (one with a 2 brush wet system). After a bit of patience and a good clean my DVD player is good as new and playing all DVD's and cd's.
