: Hi folks,
: I have been trying to identify these speakers for some time now, emailing their pictures to numerous speaker related companies, with no luck. By their physical characteristics I'd say they are fairly high quality vintage tweeters. ANY further information on them would be much apreciated as I have several pair, still in their boxes. (no markings on box tho)
: I've been told that they were made by Philips in 1978 (by the numbers on the back) What I'd really like to know is, what model speakers they belong in? ANY help with this would be greatly appreciated.
: Thanks, Alan
: Pics 5 and 6 are hi-rez, over 500k

Hi --just saw the tweeter in question --this tweeter was made in the late 70's early 80's by a fellow whose last name was Long -- he was making a midrange also that looked much the same as the tweeter --He was based in Indiana -- no relation to E.M.Long Associates---- as far as I can remember they were not in production for very long ---hope this helps ---Bob Oliver Winnipeg,Canada)
