Kef Cantor II binding post upgrade.

I have a pair of vintage (approx 25 years) Kef Cantor IIs and was wandering if it's possible to upgrade the speaker connections on the back. These are the ancient spring loaded type. I love the sound these boxes produce but I am sure they would benefit from decent binding posts.

Would appreciate any advice from those of you who have carried out a similar operation or any links to useful info on the subject.
